BKNY Mobile Notary requires that the document NOT be signed prior to the notary's arrival, or that it be resigned if already signed. The signer is always required to appear personally before the notary. Additionally documents that need notarizations can NOT be pre/post dated. The notarization date is the actual date the signer appears before the notary and must be accurately reflected on the documents.
The signers must be aware of what they are signing and need a VALID/UNEXPIRED drivers license or government ID to confirm identity. Please check to see that your name is spelled the very same on both your Identification and the legal document that is to be notarized. If it is not, check with the notary public and see if it is close enough to allow for authentication.
